We’re excited to announce Activity Log, one place for sheet owners, admins, and editors to see who has viewed a sheet, what changes were made, and when those activities occurred.
Now you can be automatically alerted about specific changes made to a sheet by adding conditions to your notifications, so you can hone in on what you need to know to get your work done.
Turn Conversations into Action with Smartsheet and Microsoft Teams – Smartsheet’s integration with Microsoft Teams, the new chat-based workspace in Office 365 harnesses the creativity and spontaneity of group conversations, pairing it with collaborative work management to transform conversations into action.
Using Card View, the columns and rows in Smartsheet are replaced by lanes of cards that let you visually track the flow of your work from start to finish. Essentially, we’re putting your whiteboard with sticky notes in the cloud
Previously, if you wanted to make one massive sheet display only relevant information for multiple users with vastly different needs, you had to create a separate report for each of these users. Smartsheet Dashboards, now in beta, provide visual interactive access to the work your audience cares about most. Use Dashboards to create an at-a-glance summary of work or build an information hub to provide quick access to important links, documents and data.
We’re excited to announce our newest feature: inserting images directly into Smartsheet cells. Viewing images in the grid (instead of clicking to open multiple attachments) provides instant context surrounding a project, as well as a time-saving method of feedback and direction. Here’s how it works:
We’ve revamped our Solution Centre to make it easier than ever to find the Smartsheet solutions you need. Designed by experts and infused with best practices, these new solutions and templates were built from the ground up to help you work smarter and more efficiently in 2016.
Sometimes you may want to send someone only a portion of the data involved in your project. For example, you need to send a client several columns from a sheet, but don’t want them to see confidential company information in some of the other columns. Or you need your salespeople to update data in their rows of the sales pipeline without seeing information from the other salespeople’s rows.
Smartsheet columns are similar to columns in a typical spreadsheet, but also have special properties that make using your sheet easier and more powerful.
