Thanks to everyone who joined us for our first ever Webinar last week. SBP’s Senior Smartsheet Consultant and Training Manager Debbie Sawyer gave clients the lowdown on Office Bookings, and shared some great tips, tricks and shortcuts on using conditional logic in forms and creating dashboards. We asked attendee Katie Ni Churraoin from Ventient Energy to tell us how it went.
What prompted you to sign up for our webinar and what were you hoping to get out of it?
My team and I were working on our Office Tracker and Debbie had mentioned the webinar. We felt that it would be a great insight into getting the best out of the tracker. I was hoping to get a better understanding into using all of the features available and utilising them within our tracker and throughout other projects too.
Have you or are you intending to put any of the Tips covered in the webinar into practise in your own sheets?
I have used some of the features on collaborations sheets across the business as a way of presenting information and data. Our office tracker has also been updated in order to reflect the max capacity in the office and the capacity on a day-to-day basis. I am sure that these tips will also be helpful with other projects that we intend to use Smartsheets for.
How much time do you think you have saved by using the tips shared during the webinar?
Once the office reopens, it will definitely save a lot of time. Rather than having to calculate how many are in a particular office on any given day, the stats will be at the top of the page. The information provided towards the end on vaccination will also help greatly and the aim will be to integrate the sheets to be in a better position to have all the facts clearly displayed.
What three words would you use to describe the experience?
Useful, informative, practical.
Would you do it again?
Definitely. I really enjoyed the webinar and it was nice to hear from a number of people within the SBP team. I also enjoy the interactive side – being able to see how to do things and then having the opportunity to do them myself.
