Debbie is also a keen hula hooper and has been hooping now for more than 7 years! She owns at least 10 hoops and enjoys a great workout helping her friend to run a hula hoop fitness class.

Outside of work, James writes comedy, and has had many television credits over the past couple of decades on shows such as Horrible Histories and Russell Howard's Good News. He retains a burning ambition to be as funny as his wife and daughter.

Smarter Dropdown List Manager Review

As a Power user of Smartsheet and a regular Community Contributor, Smarter Business Processes asked me to review their Smarter Dropdown List Manager solution, a new service that uses the Smartsheet APIs to solve one of the Most Requested problems for Smartsheet users: namely, having one central location to update their Lists of e.g., clients, task, parts, people. Additionally, when that list is saved, to have it automatically populate as many other Smartsheets that reference that Dropdown. This would take away the pain of doing this one at a time and the risks of interruption or errors being made which affects efficiency and can cause unnecessary headaches.

I have tested this solution. It is easily set up with guidance from the SBP team. It works well and reliably does the job. I can see how this solution will be warmly welcomed by Smartsheet users at a cost which can easily be justified for many Smartsheet users.

I also like the idea that this solution can be split into Departments or Teams within larger orgs who will wish to manage their own data lists in near real time.

I also see the potential for other modifications and variations of this service using the controls that the API offers, but am very pleased with what I’ve seen so far and look forward to seeing the benefits enjoyed by the wider Smartsheet community as the application usage grows.

“I manage a busy NHS health and safety service across the Highlands of Scotland. The sites and services are diverse as is the geography and “reaching out” to managers and getting actions updated and tracked is very challenging.
